Inspired by Thailand’s traditional coffee culture, Oliang Blend is our take on the bold, strong coffee you’ll find at old-school Thai coffee shops and street stalls. For generations, Oliang (โอเลี้ยง) has been part of everyday life in Thailand, traditionally served strong over ice and often with sweetened condensed milk, Oliang is all about big flavour and a coffee that doesn’t hold back. This coffee blend is our tribute to the bold coffee culture that has been part of Thailand for generations.
We’ve taken that inspiration and added a little influence from the bold coffee blends of Vietnam, creating our own blend using 80% Thai Robusta from Chumphon and 20% Thai Arabica from Chiang Mai. The result is rich, full-bodied and naturally low in acidity, with chocolatey and nutty notes and plenty of depth. It’s a great everyday coffee whether you brew it through a phin, pull it as an espresso, or pour it over ice with condensed milk for a classic Thai iced coffee.
