The Story Behind the Beans
Just two hours from Chiang Mai lies Chiang Rai, and high up in the mountains of Pang Khon, a small community has been growing coffee for over 30 years! Long before it became what it is today. Tucked away at altitude, this village found its rhythm in coffee, turning what began as a shift in livelihood into a shared craft passed down through generations. Today, the approach stays true to their roots: cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness, carefully processed, and shaped by the cool mountain air. In the cup, you’ll find soft chocolate, gentle fruit notes, and a clean, balanced finish. A reflection of mountain mornings, slow-growing seasons, and a community quietly perfecting its craft over decades.
Why We Blended Them
Because while specialty coffee has its moment, many still crave that classic European-style coffee. Strong, aromatic, and with enough caffeine to jump-start the day without breaking the bank. That’s why we combined Pang Khon’s aromatic Arabica with Chumpawn’s bold, energetic Robusta. The result is a blend that hits the sweet spot.

It’s been raining almost non-stop for the last five doays. Most of the province is flooding and I LOVE THIS COFFEE! medium roast, black, brewed in a french press, it does pack a punch. A strong taste with plenty of Robusta coming through. This one of the 50/50 blends I really appreciate. (compare it to the Super Nova blend!)
