The after-taste is tingly, tasting like the crisp mid-day light is to photography. Gives the impression of high caffeine content. Still ok after it goes cold but much better hot. It is very smooth indeed. Its flavors “burn their way” at first. But they are subtle: The hints of flavors need concentrated attention to discern. It’s not the bean to savor while busy working. I ordered the medium dark roast beans. With this coffee I use 40 G of beans ground to a medium grind with a conical burr grinder with a 1 liter French press. The coffee is very smooth and very tasty. If you pay attention, you can get a hint of citrus. Definitely a very good coffee to wake up to in the morning. I will order this one again
