Our journey has taken us far, evolving from an online coffee marketplace into a curator of Thailand’s finest fresh-roast coffees. Our mission has always been to connect Thai coffee lovers with passionate local farmers and roasters. Coffee Culture Thailand was born out of love for two things: good coffee and local artisan coffee makers in Thailand. Our goal has shifted from just bridging the gap between producer and consumer to enhancing the coffee experience for everyone. We’ve moved beyond being just an online store where farmers could showcase their roasts; we’ve become a curator of Thai coffees, your guide to delicious coffee experiences in Thailand.
The Evolution of Coffee Culture Thailand
Our story began during the lockdown of the pandemic, a time when the world practically stood still. As a half-Thai myself, I was driven by a mission to connect Thai coffee farmers and roasters with a broader coffee-loving audience, ensuring their craft could shine even in those challenging times without the need to depend on big supermarkets.

I believe our customers should know exactly where their coffee comes from, from the moment it’s harvested to when it arrives at their doorstep. The majority of our coffee beans are sourced right here in Thailand, from the lush highlands of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai for our Arabica, to the fertile grounds of Chumphon and Krabi for our Robusta. Each bean tells a story of its origin, a narrative of Thai soil, climate, and tradition.
Our roasters also bring in green beans from abroad, blending them with our local varietals here in Thailand. This fusion offers our customers a unique taste experience, marrying the exotic with the familiar, all roasted under the Thai sun to perfection.
Our relationship with the farmers continues as one of true partnership. Unlike many in the industry, we don’t dictate prices; we empower our farmers by letting them set the price for their beans. This approach not only uplifts their livelihoods but also fosters innovation and quality improvement in their techniques. We’ve carefully chosen these farmers and roasters, not just for their coffee but for their dedication to the craft. Our aim is to ensure they thrive, not just survive, in an industry often dominated by large corporations.
