Doi Rom Yen By Alexta Coffee Roaster is a special arabica coffee grade that has passed through a Semi Washed coffee process. Roasted to its perfection of medium level it is great for making both hot or cold cup of coffee. The Doi Rom Yen coffee is a smooth coffee with a full body and chocolaty taste note.

There is a roast date of October 5, 2021 on the bag. I received it on October 10th which means the coffee should be very fresh. When I opened the bag I noticed very little aroma and the faint aroma was not good. I ground enough for a single cup of coffee and again no aroma was released. Freshly roasted and ground coffee usually gives off a wonderful aroma. When I poured the hot water over the coffee there was virtually no bloom. When I tasted the coffee with nothing added, it was not pleasant at all. I then added sugar and coconut milk and it made it drinkable. I probably won’t drink anymore of it unless I drown it in sugar and coconut milk.
